Happy Wednesday!

In science we have been studying weather.  Today we went outside and became "weather watchers."  We saw cirrus, stratus and cumulus clouds.  We wrote about our observations.

Happy Wacky Wednesday!

We celebrate Wacky Wednesday most Wednesdays.  On this day, we practice our spelling words and read our weekly story in a "Wacky Way."  Today we read our story, "Sam and the Bag" in a MAD voice and we wrote our spelling words using "rainbow" colors.  We hope you enjoy the photos.

We read the story "The Hat" in our reader.  For a writing activity, the children were asked to bring in a hat and write about it.  We were working on writing complete sentences with correct punctuation.  It was lots of fun and here are some photos to share.

We have been doing some measuring using the standard units of inches, and centimeters.  The rulers are transparent so they are difficult to see.  I also posted some warm weather fun pictures.
