Hello Parents,
After a failed attempt to cloud watch yesterday, (believe it or not, when we went outside there was not one cloud in the sky) we were able to see some cirrus clouds in the sky today. The children have learned, in our study of weather, that there are three main cloud types. These include cirrus, cumulus, and stratus. Your child should know the basic differences between the three. Hope you like our pictures.

Happy Thursday...Today we spent some time in class reviewing for our first spelling test tomorrow. We went on a spelling scavenger hunt to find our spelling words. The students needed to "hunt" for the words and write them down. Hope you enjoy our photos. I try my best to get all the students, but I may miss some at times...sorry when this happens.

Yesterday, the students in our class met Eli, Benson School's therapy dog as well as his trainer, Ms. Sue. Eli first came to Benson a few weeks ago and will be at our school next year as well. Eli is a Shetland Sheepdog. The students had an opportunity to pet Eli. Not all students are pictured as some chose not to interact with the dog which is perfectly fine.

Today we took a walking trip to the Springbrook Nature Center. We learned all about mammals and then went outside to look for them. Thanks you to Mrs. Karras, Mrs. Frank, Mrs. Hittie, Mrs. Bolis, Mrs. Lee, Mrs. Positano, and Mrs. Buonincontro for coming with us. The weather was great and we had lots of fun! Please enjoy our photos.
