Hello First Grade Parents,

This morning we celebrated Read for 2017.  First and second graders were invited to come to the library and read independently or be read to by an adult.  The students read or were read to for 2017 seconds.  The students were grouped on the floor and there were lots of students.  I did my best to locate all of our class members but I may have missed some.

It was Election Day in Room 8.
The students showed their voter registration card, entered the voting booth and cast their vote for our Reward Day.  The students voted for what they wanted to be their reward for filling the good behavior jar with marbles.  It was a close race, but Pajama Day was the winner.  Please see your child's folder for details.  Upon voting, each child received an "I voted sticker."
