Hello and welcome to Room 8.  Today in science we studied different ways animal babies (offspring) communicate their needs to their parent.  We then played a game of "Needs Charades.  Students were paired off, one was a parent and the other was the offspring. Each pair was given a set of needs cards. The offspring needed to communicate without words his/her needs.  For example, "I am thirsty."  The parent then needed to guess what the baby was needing and match the cards.
